Life Changing
Jewish Blind and Disabled is unique as it is the only charity in the community providing purpose built modern mobility apartments for people of all ages who are physically disabled or vision impaired. The key to one of our apartments is literally the key to a new future for people who might otherwise have found their disability inevitably leading to the loss of their much prized independence. Without the facilities that only we offer it could even have meant a life of house-bound dependence or a move into residential care, often at a comparatively young age, for at least some of our 320 tenants.
